ALEXANDER MCQUEEN SCP SHOWCASE

Alexander McQueen gave us the opportunity to fabricate the interior of a showcase in South Coast Plaza, CA . This included:

Bone color painted wooden floor panels in satin finish • Printed butterfly vinyl encompassing entire back wall. • 4x bone color fabric wrapped plinths in various sizes • 3D cut logo fabricated from 1/4” thick acrylic.

We outsourced a site survey to work from to start things off. After gaining an understanding the space, I created a deck with digital drawings to pitch to the client for approval based on their design. The deck was then modified with further details and notes for production. I then created the background wallpaper from a supplied image and coordinated with our printing facility to have it produced. As the production moved along I checked progress on fabrication. Then for the shipping day I prepared installation guides for set up and vinyl installations.
